På søndagens workshop underviser Gudrun på engelsk i teknikkerne bag de to flotte Stripology-mønstre Felicity og Hera.

Du vælger, hvilket af de to mønstre, du vil arbejde med - det valgte mønster er inkluderet i prisen.

Begge mønstre er designet til at blive syet effektivt med Stripology XL eller Stripology Squared, og Gudrun viser, hvordan delene skæres og samles, så blokkene kommer præcist sammen.

Det er en oplagt workshop for dig, der gerne vil bruge Stripology-linealen i et rigtigt quiltprojekt og lære teknikkerne undervejs.

På undervisningsdagen har du mulighed for at købe linealer, bøger, klistermærker og forskelligt tilbehør. Men hvis du allerede nu har kig på en linial eller bog, så anbefales det at købe disse på forhånd hos Blossom Quilt, da vi ikke kan garenter, at en vare ikke bliver udsolgt på dagen.

At Sunday’s workshop, Gudrun will be teaching the techniques behind the two beautiful Stripology patterns, Felicity and Hera, in English.

You choose which of the two patterns you’d like to work on – the pattern you choose is included in the price.

Both patterns are designed to be sewn efficiently using Stripology XL or Stripology Squared, and Gudrun will demonstrate how to cut and assemble the pieces so that the blocks fit together precisely.

This is the perfect workshop for anyone who’d like to use the Stripology ruler in a proper quilting project and learn the techniques along the way.

You’ll learn, amongst other things:

🧵 how to use Stripology XL or Squared to cut the pieces
🧵 how to work more efficiently and accurately
🧵 how to keep track of your pieces as you go along
🧵 how to assemble the blocks so the pattern stands out clearly

• Sewing machine, 45 mm or 60 mm rotary cutter, 45x60 cm cutting mat, scissors, thread, pins, seam ripper, GEasy Ruler Stickers.

On the day of the class, you’ll have the opportunity to buy rulers, books, stickers and various accessories. However, if you’ve already got your eye on a ruler or book, we recommend purchasing these in advance from Blossom Quilt, as we cannot guarantee that an item won’t be sold out on the day.

As a full-day participant on the Stripology workshop, you’ll receive a 15% discount on books and rulers at Blossom Quilt. Please bring your payment receipt for the workshop with you when shopping in-store, and we’ll apply the discount. If you’re shopping via the online shop, please email Blossom Quilt and we’ll apply the discount manually.

If you sign up for both workshops with Gudrun Gísladóttir, you’ll get free admission to her talk on Saturday evening, as well as a discount on the total price for both workshops. You don’t need to register for the talk—if you purchase both workshops, a spot will be reserved for you automatically.
